<p>University of Rochester is a very strong school in many areas. They have an engineering school. They are very strong in the sciences and math. They also have one of the best optics programs in the countryand are very strong in chemistry. In addition to being strong in the sciences, they are also strong in the social sciences, especially political science. Finally, they are home to one of the top music conservatories in the country - The Eastman School. UR also gives decent aid, both merit and need, if you have the stats.</p>
