U of T or Mcgill?

So I am about to start my undergrad and am undecided if I should attend U of T or McGill. I would be studying architectural studies at U of T, and arts at McGill. The program of U of T is still an arts degree, and I would need to do a masters in architecture either way so going to McGill doesn’t ruin my opportunity of being an architect. I have heard that McGill is overall a much more fun university, with a “classic” college experience and Montreal being an extremely fun city. Meanwhile, U of T is much more academic and quiet. I would way rather go to McGill and live in Montreal, however I slightly prefer the U of T program. I am truly stuck here. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

I’m a U of T alum and my son currently attends. I wouldn’t classify U of T as quiet. There is lots to do. It’s in the heart of the fourth largest city in North America and is growing every day. Toronto is a very fun city. U of T is separated into 7 residential colleges - based on Oxford. There’s a lot of classical architecture at U of T.

Have you visited either? I believe the deadline to commit is today.
