U.S. Student Studying out of USA?

I have never been able to shake off the urge to study in another country. Not studying abroad, but actually living in the country for 4 years.

I have told myself it would not be plausible, but like I said, I can’t shake that feeling.
So now I ask y’all, are there any possible implications of going to study in another country?

Would US employers look at me differently?
I’d want to be a lawyer, would I be able to come back to the US for law school?
Is this even an advisable thing?
Can you study law out of the US and then use that degree in the states? If so, I could wait until then.

I’d appreciate if someone could shine some light on this for me.
Thank you!

International students do attend law schools here. Many foreign colleges are less expensive than private American colleges, but not by enough to be affordable if you need a considerable amount of financial aid. Are you an IB student, by any chance? If so, it might make the process easier, although you won’t necessarily know where you’re going until the summer after your scores are posted. My son’s roommate from boarding school took that route, although he returned to the US. I know a number of American students like St. Andrew’s in Scotland, and they like Americans who pay a much higher tuition than British and European students.
