I live in Erie, PA.
And I'll be a life science/ Biology major at Toronto, and a Biology major at Case.

For Toronto I'll be paying the international fee which is around 35,000-37,000 I think.
For Case I'll be paying the normal fee minus 22,500, which is around 33 grand.

Case is in Cleveland, and it's 2 hours away.
Toronto ...is in Toronto haha. and is 4 hours away.

I feel like Case is too close, and the dorms are too...small, and the social scene isn't the great and most of the people ..like 95% are from the Ohio/Erie/ Upper New York area.
And most of the people are science majors.

However, I was told Toronto is hyper competitive and has huge class sizes and not the most accessible professors.

I want to get into Baylor med school so I need to get the 3.9 to 4.0.

I'm a senior in high school and I had a 33 Act, so I'm not the dumbest kid alive.

so what would you recommend.

And I’ll recommend something back if you guys link me to your thread.

^I second your comments on U of T. I live in Canada and know a lot of people going to UofT. The class sizes are HUGE, meaning 100+ in a lecture is the norm for many classes. I’m sure that applies to bio/pre-med.

Also, I’m not sure if this applies to most colleges or not…but UofT scales marks down at times. The departments have a standard average for every single class- which is between 67% and 70% I believe. So to get a 3.9 GPA is… not easy…You need to be cream of the crop.

I dont know much about Case at all…so sorry about no comparison.

I was on the facebook group for last years Toronto life science, and a lot of them are selling books with past exams.

Is Toronto like the only school where people sell tests…?

^I think every university student tries to save money by buying second handed books

But the past exam thing
