UA Early College

We stumbled upon the UA Early College last year as we were searching the website. As a part of our process, I talked to a few other parents whose children had participated in the on campus residential program during a previous summer. We liked what we heard, and our daughter has truly enjoyed this program while earning college credit. It isn’t easy by any means, but to her it has been manageable and well worth her efforts.

Since many of you have highly motivated and academically successful children, I thought I’d share this information with you. Our middle daughter is a UA Early College Ambassador and will be working to provide information this year to interested students and parents. Please feel free to send a private message through me and I will put you in touch with her if you have questions about this program.

UA Early College provides an opportunity for students to earn up to an additional 30 hours of college credits while in high school in addition to any AP or IB credits WITHOUT affecting freshman scholarship eligibility. After meeting certain GPA guidelines, students are eligible to complete college coursework through the UA Early College beginning spring semester of sophomore year in HS through the summer following their senior year in HS. There are both online and summer residential options available. Scholarships are available based upon meeting certain criteria.
