For anyone needing accomodations in PA during the month of January, this site is offerering 2 nights for the price of one at select hotels, might come in handy if the weather gets bad.

I'm new to the whole posting thing on the site. My e-mail was wonky so my account was just activated, but I've been following these threads for a long time.

My question about Uarts concerns their applied theater arts major (sorry i know this is musical theater but I'm a directing major with heavy interests in MT) What exactly is it?? I've been on their website all day and am still confused??? Is it worth looking at for directing or arts admin.?

Hi Carrie,
I called the dept about this major a while back just to see what it was, and it sounded kindof like a catchall theater major - sort of like a theater BA, in that you study a lot of stuff about theater. It didn't sound good for anyone interested in performance.

I recommend emailing the department or calling to get the straight scoop on this major.
