Need to decide for undergraduate course in Commerce/ Finance between UBC, Vancouver and Mcgill, Montreal. Have done entire school till IBDP from Mumbai, India…any suggestion would be a big help
You can’t go wrong with either program so you may want to base your choice on more intangible criteria such as location, school characteristics, fit, and cost. If finances are an issue, I would have to check but I’m thinking McGill will be the cheaper option. In addition Vancouver is a considerably more expensive city to live in than Montreal and housing could be an issue there. Other than that Vancouver will be much much warmer than Montreal in the winter (though more rainy). UBC is a larger school. Vancouver will be more multicultural than Montreal. McGill is a highly regarded school in the U.S. (if that matters). I’ve never actually been to Vancouver (though I have been to Montreal) so I can’t tell you more than that but if you post on the International board you’ll probably get more feedback.
