UBC / U of T / McGill

hello there!
i have recently been admitted to U of T, St George campus. my advisor told me that I will get admitted to Ubc and Mcgill as well since i have good grades. so now im waiting but I have a lot of questions in my head and i really need some answers in order to be prepared! If i get admitted to all three of them, which one should I choose?
A beautiful campus, a strong reputation in science, a friendly environment, a 420 friendly environment, not having classes that are too difficult to deal with, multiculturalism, and international recognition are among my criterias for a “good college”. since im an international student, i dont know which one is better known, could you tell me what you think?

In that case you should look beyond…and below…these three schools.

UBC and U of T will have the most multicultural environments. U of T and McGill will have the most international recognition. All will be well known in the US and overseas. None of them will be easy.

I’m not up on 420 friendliness, but I suspect UBC might be the most friendly. Toronto and Montreal are more conservative than Vancouver, but they’re still more liberal than most other North American cities.

They are all very well known in Canada.

“A beautiful campus,”

I think that UBC edges out the other two on this criteria. UBC is certainly the only one with its own beach (at least at low tide). McGill has a relatively well contained campus for being right in the middle of a major city. I only visited Toronto once but it seemed to sort of pretty much blend into downtown Toronto. I have heard some of buildings at Toronto compared to Hogwarts.

“a strong reputation in science,”

Three great choices.

“a friendly environment,”

I am not qualified to compare the three.

“a 420 friendly environment”

I was under the impression that this will be legal in Canada in a few months

“not having classes that are too difficult to deal with”

I tend to agree with @TomSrOfBoston, these might not be the correct three schools. Toronto and McGill have the strongest reputation for being academically very challenging, but UBC is not going to be easy either. You will need to go heavy on the homework and go light on the “420”.

“multiculturalism”

Any will be strong in this way. McGill will have more French / English multiculturalism, UBC and Toronto will be multicultural in other dimensions. Canada has a long tradition of tolerance which I think grows out of its multicultural roots.

“international recognition”

I think that McGill and Toronto have the edge over UBC on this one.

Three great options, but not an easy choice.
