UC 2022 Fall Application -> Academic History, Summer Pre-Cal class

My son took a Pre-Cal as summer class (4-wks?, online, b/w 10th and 11th grade). The course is Pass/NoPass. When reporting to UC application, I see two entries, Precalculus (HP) and Precalculus (P)? Not too sure which one to pick? Any advice? Thanks

P= Regular College Prep Class
HP= Honors level class

Select the course level he took during the summer. It should be exactly as stated on his transcript.

Even if it is an HP class, since it was P/NP, no extra weighting will be given.

‘P’ means prep class. Got it.

Weird thing, his HS transcript is not showing it. It is offered thru community college teacher. Either way, it is not making difference in terms of UC GPA, like you said. Thank so much.

If it is a college course, report it as a college course, not a high school course.

My daughter D22 had applied to UC and received the portal link from UC Davis today. There is a section on the portal with instructions/college code to send the SAT, AP scores to UC Davis. Do we need to send the SAT and AP scores to each UC or just one UC? She applied to 5 UCs, just checking if we need to send to each one of them. Any suggestion/advice will be highly appreciated.

You only ned to send the AP scores and SAT/ACT scores to the UC where she ends up enrolling. You want to include Senior year AP scores on the report and the SAT/ACT scores are only used for course placement. Save your money till after graduation.
