i just got my account for UCSD in the mail and for my official scores online it said they didn’t have my sat scores. i called them today to verify and they said they don’t have my scores. I sent the scores back in November 2006. I called college board and they said they sent it. So who’s at fault?? i am worried cause what if they already started to review applications?

I ended up rush reporting it so HOPEFULLY it will get through this time. Do UC’s accept rush reports and how do they get it? will it autimatically update on my account online? Now i’m worried that this will happen to other colleges i applied it =/

i honestly dont know. what i would do is check a few days to see if they recieved it and its updated on your account online. if it doesn't, email them( or better yet call them) and try to discuss this with them.

My S had a problem with his scores being reported, and it turned out the collegeboard had the wrong social security number for the test. He was able to clear it up with the inidividual schools as they had the report, just not with his number. If you haven't verified that the scores were reported with the same name and social security number, I suggest you do so.

Have you checked what the main UC site has for your data?

i called UCSD and gave them my social security and they didn't find my scores.

Yeah the main site has all my correct information and it seems that most of the other UCs i applied to had gotten my correct info. But the ONE UC that i want to go to didn't get it. =(

The Davis Campus will be receiving a large batch of test scores within the next week. I’m sure it will be the same with the other campuses; however I would check with them. This data load should contain scores requested in November and December. If the scores are not reported correctly by the end of January I would contact the campus.

Collegeboard lost one of my SAT 2s and I'm still waiting for them to send another test to my school for me to take. While they promised to contact the UCs I applied to, at this point I have little faith. Should I let each UC know that Collegeboard has done this and I have to take the test again?

Why wouldn't you contact each UC at this point. Collegeboard has already let you down once. Why give them the chance to do it twice? IMO it's kind of like buying an insurance policy, be safe.

Same thing happened to me: I sent them in december (picked them as one of my top 4 to get my sat scores, and all that stuff) and they didn't get it.
Collegeboard said they sent it.
So I sent it again in January and now it's like early feb and it's STILL not on the status check page!!
What's wrong with SD.

They had a lot of trouble with lost/missing transcripts last summer too. Be forewarned now; if you are accepted into UCSD get your transcript sent the day you graduate. Don't wait, and check often to see if it has been recorded as received. Better yet hand deliver it if possible. There were more than a few kids on here last summer in a panic because of this problem.
