UC Acceptance 2012 timings

^omg, that’s in a wk!!

I bet UCR will release a lot of decisions on march 1st.

i told you guys march 1st! YAY

holy mooooly March 1st is SOOOON I really hope it comes out early march, im tired of waiting. UC IRVINE Leggo!

Perfect World = All UCs come out with decisions Mar. 1!!

With an 8% drop in apps, maybe ours will get processed faster than in recent years!

wow, i could get decisions in 2 weeks…

@thepavin - that would be beyond amazing. I’m ready for it to be April already, gahhh

wait how do you guys know that there are less applicants this year? and do you mean this for the entire UC system or just a specific school? :O

I remember ms sun posted it…and it’s more frosh applicants but less transfer apps for the entire system

^^The only school that had an increase in transfer applications this year was Merced.

http://www.ucop.edu/news/factsheets/2012/fall_2012_applications_table1.pdf</a></p>

Every other campus saw a decrease for reasons no one has officially explained yet.

haha @pavin, if only such was true

^^I just received a letter from UC-Merced.

you got accepted?!

Nope, but my heart dropped when I saw it. But then I quickly remembered that admission notifications doesn’t come out until next week. So, when I opened it, it was just a letter reminding me to make an account on the Merced Student Portal if I haven’t done it already.

^^Lol. I received a letter about FinAid at Merced in the mail yesterday. I pretty much had the same reaction.

^Same here haha I thought they were finally releasing admissions

AGHHHHHH! I hate the wait!

I’m really hoping SD (tag) doesn’t do something ridiculous once again this year…

I haven’t posted the transfer decision time line because I don’t have updated information for every campus. But since you all got a head start with the panic, this is what I have so far:

Berkeley - all decisions will be available at myBerkeleyApplication on April 27

Davis - all decisions become available at MyAdmissions around mid-April

Irvine - decisions come out in batches at MyAdmissions Application starting March 1; all decisions are out by the last day of April

UCLA - all decisions become available at Admission Decisions around mid-April

Merced - decisions come out in batches at MyUCMerced starting in March; all decisions are out by the last day of April

Santa Cruz - decisions come out in batches at MyUCSC starting March 15; all decisions are out by the last day of April

i went back to recheck last year’s UCI thread and found out that MOST decisions started rolling out around March 29th around 9PM…

But last year was different, there was “FREE FOR ALL” TAG. So maybe ill check 10 and that will be the schedule were working on.

WHAT! really!? lawlking, are you sure you didn’t get accepted.

in 2010 UCI decisions came out March 5th for all.
