I have a number of activities going on this summer. If I withdraw
from an advanced calculus class before the deadline - could
the W negatively impact my chances of undergraduate admittance
to UC? It would be the only W and I have four other courses during
high school that were all A's.

Any insight appreciated. Also - input regarding private colleges
and universities on this welcome.

Thanks.

Are you a rising senior? If so, no problem. Colleges understand things can come up to change your plan. If you are about to enter a UC this fall and your admission was contingent on completing this course, bad idea.

I’m going to be a senior in the fall. I was hoping to take multivariate calc senior year as I have a bunch of friends in there. I completed AB junior year so I’m taking BC equivalent this summer as pre-req. But between the summer job and all it’s getting tight. I could either take Calc BC in the fall or AP stats instead of the multi-var. I’m just wondering if the W would look bad.

It won’t, particularly opposite a job.
