I finished my application last night. I had already filled out my academic history a while ago. A-G requirements indicate that I need one year of some art class. During junior year i fulfilled this requirement. I took one full year (two semesters) of art, indicated on my transcript as Art 1 (1st semester) and Art 2 (second semester). So I entered as follows:

Art 1..... A / NO
Art 2..... NO / A

The NO being that i didn't have the class that semester. I already SUBMITTED my app. It says that I failed to meet the art requirement. Why is this if i have a full year of an art class?

My only thought is that the system believes that Art 1 and Art 2 themselves are yearlong courses, so my classes weren't continuous.
Talking to my counselor she said it was fine. I'm afraid not meeting the requirement is a red flag for admission officers. How big of a deal is this. Trying to contact UC's as we speak.

Thanks for any input, it is greatly appreciated.
