<p>I was wondering what do people normally write in this section?
-Is it things such as "why I didn't take the ACT"
-Or "my grades fell because..."</p>

<p>My Math II subject test score is 650 (very low, I know). My algebra II isn't very strong because my math teacher wasn't a good teacher at all and I've spent most my high school studying calculus.
Is this something you would write in the additional comments section, or no?</p>

<p>That’s hard to say without sounding whiny, and that you’ve spent most of your time on calculus should be obvious from your transcript. I’d say not to put it.</p>
