Well I assumed that inviting someone to your dorm for a very long time in seclusion was a…

That certainly is another way to pass the time

Hello,
I am planning to transfer to a UC for fall of 2013. So, I need some advice and tips on what gpa range I should be in order to get accepted to UCI, UCSD, or UCSB, application deadline and how to get accepted and how will the administrators runs their transfer system. Thank you!

As far as gpa range you can check those from last year but it will be much more helpful to you once we start receiving decisions since the standards have been changing each year. It’s still best to get as high a gpa as possible, a 3.5 to be safe. Apps are available starting October 1st, and the filing period starts Nov 1st-30th. Stick around until we start getting those decisions.

Nothing from the UC’s yet. But I got into CSUF’s PR program! That should hold me off for at least a week =]. lol.

just got into uci this morning
sooo happy!

^^ Woahh! Already? Congrats! =]

Just curious but were you notified by email or did you just check the UCI portal?

at 3am i got an email…

check this thread out… http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/1299856-official-uci-transfer-admittance-thread.html

Called UCSD: For tag we are not entered as a major, so pre-reqs dont hold a huge weight at all!! (non-impacted majors)

Also I asked about when we would get the decisions etc… She seemed to feel like they most likely wont have them out until late March at the earliest…

Got into uci as a freshman a few days ago. Now waiting on ucla ucb ucsd and ucsb. I’m going to have an anxiety attack soon

^this is the transfer thread

If you are not a transfer student please don’t post that you were admitted here it just gets me excited thinking that they started sending notices for transfers. On another note, I am having anxiety attacks over this UCSD transfer waiting game. How solid is UCSD TAG? Should I be this worried if my GPA has not dropped since I applied?

You should always be worried. The world is a scary place. For all you know hobgoblins live beneath your bed.

wait does anyone have like this for UCLA and a UID number?

I’m able to log into URSA and i got that…

i have access to that too. i dont think it means anything

okay, thanks.

i did some research and it seems that when you get admitted the 3 columns become 2

I’ve been checking that, a lot of back and forth since 09 about that, 3 columns = accepted; 2 columns = accepted.

i’ve seen the 3 becomes 2, which is probably the most likely situation.
