Not that long to be honest. You can do it in 1 sitting. Will prob take you no more than 2 hours.

I took like 8 AP classes in high school and passed them all, but the UC application is prompting me for two English courses (I took ENGL 103, but I tested out of 101 with my AP English Language and Composition scores). What do I do?

Are you referring to the question that says like… “Prior to transferring, will you complete blah blah blah” in the other academic history section right?

I called the UC hotline and they just said to put down “none planned/none completed” and then to make note of it in the additional comments + put down your AP test/scores in the test section.

Okay, that’s what I did.

Also, in my Freshman Year, I took a class that was credited as both Econ 170 and History 170 (History from an Economics perspective). I put that down twice, but I’m thinking that I made a mistake, should I change it or keep it?

Did all of you guys answer this question? Or are they just suggesting something?

I didn’t answer that part, but I’m Comp Lit so there aren’t really any activities that pertain to my major beyond reading.

did anyone else receive an “aknowledegement” email today? not the one you get right after paying

I submitted my apps a few days ago and I been really worried about my unit count. I entered the same info for TAG application that I did in the UC apps, and the unit count for my credits was 58 transferable, 7 non transferable and 5.33 units of AP credit. which comes up to a total of 63.33 units. The UC apps counted my units as 52 instead. So my question is, are they gonna auto reject you if your below the 60 unit mark, or wait till they get the transcript to verify. I’m so frustrated with it, I can’t seem to focus on anything else… :(

^where is the unit count on the UC application??

^ well it showed me how much units I had before I was about to submit it… and it said you have 52 units. Maybe you had enough units and it didn’t need to show the amount of units…

^ an explanation in the additional comments sections should suffice if you’re using ap credit.

does anyone know where I am supposed to indicate in the California Community College Transfer Admission Programs section of my application that I have a "UCD Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG)? I’m really confused as to where to put that.

roman, it also took me a very long time. I started skimming through every page on the application and somehow, I embarked upon a page that had TAG selections. Good luck

I finished mines. minutes later

sigh April can’t come soon enough.

Bump:

What month do we put on the UC App if we are expecting to receive an associates degree from our CC? Feb 2012, April 2012…?

Sent from my HTC Glacier using CC App

Hey, did you guys receive an error when you tried to log into your uc application this morning? I keep receiving an error for some reason.

Hmm no, mine worked fine.

Hey can anyone help me out please??

I am trying to submit my app. I’ve done everything and have submitted my personal statements and such. When I try to “Start Submission Process” it says I still have to complete an area of “Academic History” when I’ve completed it already and I have gone through it multiple times.

Anyone got any insight as to why this is happening?

Thanks,
JDS

Can anyone read my personal statements really quick?
Also, I want to explain the drop in grades of my second semester of sophomore year but the section where the explanation should be written cannot exceed 550 characters. Should I put my explanation in the last section about additional comments? Or should I shorten my explanation and put it in the section that comes after the academic history part of the application?
