UC Application Question

Hey,

So I took 3 years of a foreign language in high school and so my CC counselors told me that that was sufficient and I didn’t need to take another year of a language. So how exactly am I going to submit on the UC App that I took 3 years of a foreign language (required for transfer) in high school? I have a transcript ready btw.

Hey there,

After you get accepted to a school you want to transfer to, they request your high school transcript. This is to see that you did indeed do your foreign language requirement in high school. Your grades won’t matter, you just have to show that you did do it. Hope this helps.

On the application asking about the foreign language requirement, is it a button to select or a box that you can fill in? If it is a button, select it, and note elsewhere on the application with something like, “language requirement fulfilled in high school”. If it is a box, fill it in likewise.
