For the academic history section I have run into a problem; I formally enrolled in my current community college in the fall of 2006, but in High School I got credit for a course taken through the High School at that community college (which shows up on my transcript and factors into my GPA.)

Should I set my dates of attendance of my community college as Summer of 2005 - Spring of 2008? Or as fall of 2006 - spring of 2008 (as I was not in any sort of physical attendance until the fall).

In the section for course history it will only provide spaces for the terms that are within the noted period of attendance, so if I set my date of attendance starting in the fall, I cannot list this course.

unfortunately I don't know the correct answer. But, I would imagine that they're not UC transferrable right? If that's the case it won't factor in to the GPA that the UC adcoms see.

Try talking to someone in your admissions and records department to get the exact course name and whatnot and then call up the campuses you want to apply to and ask them if it transfers over.

I don't know if I can answer what you should do, but personally I included it. I figure I'll just give them everything and let them sort it out. You might state, however, that those were credits received via high school coursework on your supplementary statement if you feel it's terribly confusing.

Anyway, it was quite a few credits of A's for me. (;

my gpa is a 4.0 with or without the course, so that's not really an issue; I am just concerned that putting summer of 2005-spring of 2008 will reflect poorly upon me.

if you're really that confused, just call the technical support number for the application, the helpline or whatever its called...to double check.

If you completed a course, even if it was high school, you were enrolled at the school. Your dates of attendance should match what your official transcript states. Please list your dates of attendance of “summer 2005 – spring of 2008.” Remember to list all courses regardless if they are transferable. We will be able to tell by the date of your high school graduation, this should be listed also, that you took the earlier courses while in high school.
