I took a college course at my high school. However, an error appears on my application because it says that the date the college course was taken conflicts with my time in high school. It won't let me put the date taken because i was taking a college course in high school. How can i fix this?

Did you set the correct starting date for your college? It should be the first class you took there, not the first class you took after high school. For example, if you took a class at a community college in 2007 when you were in high school, that should be your starting date for attending that college, even if you graduated high school in 2009.

I graduated high school in June of 2008, so i put the starting date for my college class as February 2008-June 2008. Did i do it correctly?

This is what it says: “The start date for colleges attended after high school must be on or after the end date of any high school or colleges attended while in high school”. But i took this course during my last semester of high school. Ahhh im so confused.

I emailed them about it and got this response:

So for anyone with classes that were taken at community college prior to high school graduation, you’ll have until it’s fixed to complete the coursework part.

thanks rikizle :)

I had this problem too, but it still let me put it. There was just a little red flag next to it. I called the application center and the man I spoke to said go ahead and submit the application, anyway, even with the flag. They’re in the process of fixing the problem.

I had same problem too Thanks for the info I will hold off :)
