@novahritan I think decisions are guaranteed by Monday, not tomorrow.
In past years the final decisions have all been released on the last Friday of May so I expect this pattern to continue. Makes sense since office is closed on weekends anyway.
On last year’s apeals thread it seemed that all the people who heard at the end of the month were rejected. Does this mean it is true that if your appeal still says it is ‘under review’ on the portal, it means you are probably going to be rejected soon?

Is this the same with transfers or just freshmen?

@emmabeanie13 while @bobbyannpin is correct, it is highly probably each one of us is rejected, keep in mind this year they have said twice now that all the acceptances have not been released. If you read last years message boards there was a point late in May where someone posted that admissions said they had released all the appeals and if you had not heard by then then you should move on with your life. This year is not playing out exactly like last year did. But again, chances of acceptance are very low regardless.
Do we know if anyone has been rejected? Did they release any rejections yet? How were acceptances released–on the portal, by e-mail, or snailmail?
No rejections have been released yet that I know…and all the acceptances come out through your portal

I have students waiting on pins and needles, so I sure hope Berkeley ends the torture any hour now. That would be humane.
Hi all, I just joined the forum for this post. I filed the transfer appeal for L&S. Patiently waiting like many so I can get closure one way or another. Portal still says that my appeal is under review and decisions will be released by Monday, June 1st.
Just curious, besides the prestige, what other factors are behind your obsession with UC Berkeley?
Personally, having lived in LA most of my life, I was really looking to experience a new life in a new place. I had to submit SIR to UCLA to initiate housing, but I just can’t give up on Berkeley! UCLA is the next best UC after Cal, so everyone says, but it’s just too close. Anyone else in this situation?
