My daugther is thinking of taking 2 courses over the summer + intense tennis lessons. Is that too much work? The school website discourages taking 2 classes due to heavy workload, but my daugther wants to take English writing + intro to biotech. If you know how much work it really takes for these 2 courses, I’d greatly appreciate your feedback. Thank you!
I would agree with the program’s recommendation that two classes plus a significant extracurricular commitment is too much. I am assuming that biotech is not a class offered at her current school for her grade level. If it were my daughter, I would have her take just the biotech class for that reason, and keep the tennis lessons and then add lots of independent reading.
