^ Are you bored, MetFan? :)

^ are you?

No, I was just talking about how pointless this thread is.

Both Berkeley AND Stanford are amazing schools. The only real difference for undergrad education is the number of students. Everything else is pretty much the same. I wouldn't be angry about going to either. Quality education stems from both.

^ Yes, I am actually. ;)

No offense intended. Congrats on your acceptances to two great schools.

Yeah, what's funny is my best friend got into Berkeley (and he didnt think he would get in), so now all he does is talk crap on Stanford, for no reason at all. He just keeps saying, "Stanford is sooo gay!!!" And I am like, why are you hating? I don't hate Berkeley at all. Its sort of funny, cause I think he is mad cause he didnt apply to Stanford, but yeah. He is only joking, but it seems like the Cal/Stanford rivalry is already at my school which is in Southern California, lol.

I am going to Stanford because of financial reasons. I am not gonna have to take out a $5,000 loan each year which is what Berkeley's aid said. It's not bad, not bad at all. Obviously, Stanford's new policies cover just about everything (in my income bracket). Nothing against Berkeley, but I think anyone would do the same thing, for financial reasons alone.

Of course! It really is ironic that a prestigious private school is cheaper than your in-state flagship university. But such are the facts these days...Sieze the opportunity.
