Does anyone else show Regents invite? If so, is it on the same page as the application checklist?
I’m almost positive that @augustina37 is lying. Especially since last year february 9th wasn’t a tuesday.

Also was looking around on CC and found out that UCLA Regents notifications went out a while ago and I didn’t get it so now I’ve lost all hope for Berkeley :((
I really doubt Berkeley would say the 12th and then release decisions 3 days early.
Wouldn’t the invite be in an email?

@graceann dont trip, it’s extremely rare that people get regents invites from but LA and Cal. I was bummed too bc i didn’t get LA either, and I care about berkeley a whole lot more. i don’t advise you to get your hopes up either, because its like top 2% of applicants, but don’t lose all hope
Crazy when you think about it. 82,000+ freshman applications, and only 2000 notified this Friday. Just over 2%. Also interesting that the breakdown is 45k in stat, 21k out of state, and 16k international. I always thought it was much more skewed in state. I am sure I can find the enrollment data, but what is the acceptance and enrollment percentages of in state students vs out of state at Berkeley??

^ posts like this are useless. Do you think we honestly can provide you with the probability of you getting in based on just stats, without any indication of the content of your essays? This isn’t a chance me thread based on numbers that have no depth. This is a discussion about email correspondence, scholarships, and what UC Bekeley is up to while we wait for our admission decision.
Despite all of that, though, your stats are more than fine (and I’m assuming that’s why you posted them). UC Berkeley is extremely unpredictable with decisions, so I wouldn’t count on your stats, especially with getting in early. You have to have something set you apart besides just stats (take a look at UCLA applicant discussion where someone got Regents = Berkeley early admit with only a 1990 SAT). Berkeley is known to be even more holistic than UCLA, so take that as you will.
