I got accepted to Cal’s Econ, UCLA’s pre Bizecon, and USC’s Marshall school of business. I intended to study marketing but I’m fine with Econ because it’s more general and gives me wider options. Both Cal and UCLA have very high GPA requirements for declaring major. For USC, I already got into their business program so it’s a safer bet. I know Cal’s Haas school of business is superior but it’s extremely competitive so let’s assume I won’t get in and will stick with Econ. I know USC has great alumni connections but I heard Cal has better recruitment in the Bay Area. USC is slightly more expansive to attend than Cal and UCLA so it won’t be an issue for me.
