@norcal57 I think only the course objective and student learning outcomes matter but I would check… if you have nothing else I would send a different quarters syllabus and explain to them what could be different

@SatanFlower69 No, Berkeley is not my top choice either, it’s probably 4th for me. I planned on visiting the campus if I got admitted just to check it out but that’s obviously out the door now. It’s not an ideal fit for myself either, just applying to know if I could get in or not.

Anyone applying for Global Studies?
I’m probably just freaking myself out because decisions are this week, but I want to know:
I put the UCB TAP in my application thinking it was the same as the UCLA TAP or the UCI Honors for honors. I’ve since found out that my CC doesn’t participate in that program like it does with UCI and UCLA. Do you think this might cause me to be rejected?
I know it’s probably way too late to do anything about it if it does, and I’m just psyching myself, but I figured I’d put it out there and see if anyone knows.
UCB TAP is not an honors program like the one for UCLA and UCI. It’s a support program for underrepresented minority an low income students.
wdym you put the UCB Tap? were you apart of UCB Tap? If you werent apart of UCB Tap the AO will know since UCB Tap applications are flagged as TAP students.
I know that now, but at the time I thought that UCLA TAP and UCB TAP were part of the same program (dumb, I know). I’m just wondering if there is a chance admissions might think I was trying to game the system by saying I was part of a program I wasn’t, and reject my application on those grounds. There’s probably no way I’d know until friday, and even then I could never say for sure that this was the reason I might be rejected, but I thought I’d ask anyway.

Does anyone think Fall 2020 will end up being online as well? I know they announced Summer classes are, but I was curious to know the chances of Fall classes being online. I really hope they aren’t, I’ve been looking forward to transferring

Could you tell us more about your experience rushing as a transfer? I am applying as a Political Science major as well. How has it been adjusting to the difference in workload from community to Berkeley? Would you have any advice on how to adjust to the academic rigor of Berkeley? @SatanFlower69 Cal’s my top choice and I’m really nervous tbh. I’ve been studying really hard for the past two years with that school in mind. Whatever news I hear on Friday will make me cry for sure lol
