UC Berkeley Orientation Date?

Hi guys, I’ve heard that there is going to be a orientation for UC Berkeley transfer students sometimes in July and I’m wondering if you guys know what date would the orientation be and do I have to physically show up to it?

The reason I ask is because I will be out of the country for the better part of July are there any other events that I need to personally show up to the campus during July??

Mid-August. They’re doing all orientations a week before school starts rather than spreading them out mid-summer:
