the forbidden/not authorized theory does make sense, but wouldnât people have figured this out in previous years? because it seems like a fairly simple speculation

Thatâs a good question. There is a possibility that they fixed the link between uploaded acceptances and new student event registration, and there will be no early access to these events anymore. This CalNet deal might just be another early indicator that went unnoticed by the admissions tech group. (There seems to be a new one each year.) Then again, it might not be the indicator that we think it is.
The withdraw button is an indicator a day before the decisions?
