UC Berkeley vs. UCSB (CS major)

<p>I would be getting a Comp Sci B.A. degree in L&S at Berkeley and a Comp Sci B.S. degree in CoE at UCSB.
I like almost everything about UCSB better and am pretty set on going there but how much does prestige matter?
Will it negatively affect my job opportunities and salary in the future? Does the big fish in a small pond apply at colleges? How much harder is it to get a job graduating from UCSB? </p>

<p>Just some last minute questions before I officially SIR. Thanks guys for being so supportive throughout this journey. I can't believe it's finally about to be over. (:</p>

<p>I think the opportunity upon graduation is about the same. One is for software design and the other is more of a hardware design. Depends your personal preference, if you do well in either, you can be successful. In addition, the living environments are different also. </p>
