UC Berkeley vs UT Austin vs UM Ann Arbor

Major: Computer Science/Computer Engineering or Business?

I know each one of these schools has top 10 computer science and engineering programs in addition to top 10 business programs. I'm still not sure about going the business route or sticking with CS or CE.

Berkeley is a lot more academic-focused… even if you don’t think you’d enjoy a big sports culture and a lot of school spirit, you’ll appreciate it at UT.

Just a couple random facts that might be useful to you…

The business school only accepts Fall transfers so if you go in to CS and decide you want out, you’ll have to wait until the next go-around.

The CS program will be getting their own building in 2013 and it’s gonna be nice

Where do you live? If you’d get in state tuition for any of them, I’d highly recommend going there.

Business (finance) recruiting for all 3 schools is roughly on par. For the most part, Berkeley recruiting feeds into San Fran, Socal, UT into Houston and Dallas, and Michigan into Chicago and NYC. You can also get placed into other parts of the country (ie NYC) from all three schools, but it isn’t as common.

Just pick whatever campus/city you like better if post-grad career city doesn’t matter.
