Does anyone know if there is some sort of penalty if I SIR to Berkeley and maintain my SIR to UCLA? I intend on attending Berkeley but I was going to drive up there this weekend to check it out first but the SIR is due tomorrow. If all goes well I’ll withdraw my sir to UCLA on Monday.
was anyone able to do their SLR? i was was in the process of doing mine but today it disappeared from cal central.
@shayhello17 is it okay if I just leave my SIR to UCSD while i am intending to go to UCB?
@xaul95 I did mine yesterday and received an email confirmation that it was received and processed.
@darklybeast I was in a similar situation. I dropped a few P.E. courses that were not required for transfer but they were part of cond of admissions as I listed them on my UC application. I freaked out, let my admssions officer know, and he told me to fill out the update form and that as long as the classes don’t affect the required units for transfer, then everything is fine. Sure enough, my admission status was sustained. Congrats on getting in!
Yesterday I was getting error when I clicked on Golden Bear Advising. Today I get into the bcourses menu but where does one go to actually sign up for the Golden Bear Advising/orientation etc.
Hey guys! I got accepted on Tuesday, though admissions letter says accepted to the college of letters and science and not a specific major… does anyone know how difficult it will be for me to declare a highly sought major like cogsci? I’ve met all the prereq requirements except for one class, so if I take it during the first semester, will I be able to declare the major the following semester?
Also, I’m having difficulty with the Golden Bear advising… everytime I click on the link, I’m redirected to Canvas where it tells me I am not enrolled in any courses, not sure if anyone else is experiencing this? Am I correct in assuming that we will not be required to have an in-person orientation at this point in time?
Finally, I’m not seeing anything in financial aid awards, just curious to those that got accepted earlier, how long after SIRing did awards appear?
It seems that the majority of us in this thread eventually got accepted which is awesome!!! I have been following the thread for weeks and finally created an account

For those still on the waiting list. I called the admission twice today, and got the same answer. ALL DECISIONS will be posted by TOMORROW automatically, because they wont work during the weekend. @Sean1995 whatever the decisions are, we will receive something. At this time what kind of decision is not that important for me, I just want an answer for these 2 months’ waiting.
