The UC GPA, as far as I know (and someone correct me if I am wrong), takes all core classes in high school (math, science, history, language?), and excludes all non-core classes (PE, sports, etc) in calculating your GPA. It's also important to note that the UC GPA excludes your freshman year.

As things stand now, the UC GPA is uncapped, meaning they use your weighted GPA based on UC-approved Honors and AP courses.
