UC Davis - reach
UC Riverside - match/slight reach
UC Irvine - reach
UC Santa Cruz -match/slight reach
UC Merced - match/slight reach

Since you are in Manderin Club, my guess is that you know Chinese? Why you didn't take SAT II Chinese?

Hi The Critic,

UC Davis: Reach
When compared against other applicants, your low GPA, SAT, and SAT II scores will really, really hurt your chances here.

UC Irvine: Reach
Although you would stand a slightly better chance of admission here than at Davis, it will still be extremely difficult to get in here.

UC Santa Cruz: Slight Reach
See above explanations - though you do stand a better chance of admission here than at Davis and Irvine.

UC Riverside: Match/Slight Reach
I would say you have a 50/50 chance here. Compared to other applicants, I would say your GPA would be slightly lower, as would your SAT and SAT II scores.

UC Merced: Match/Slight Reach
Being one of the newly opened UCs, I say you have a 75/25 chance here.

Good luck!

The Critic:

UCI/UCD: Slight Reach
UCSC/UCR/UCM: Match

Thanks. Bump...

To update:

ACT score for Dec-06 was 25, but I'm having some issues with UC receiving the score, so that might or might not be used for evaluation.

UC Riverside and Merced did send me an acceptance letter.

Congrats. UCR is a nice campus and right near palm springs ^^

"""UC Irvine: Reach

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??? UCI has a lower acceptance rate and higher GPA and SAT average for admits than Davis. While the stats are somewhat similar, dont state that Davis is harder to get into than UCI when the exact opposite the true. You obviously are a student at Davis. Dont give out bum information.

UCI: http://universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/selecting/camp_profiles/camp_profiles_uci.html

UC Davis: http://universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/selecting/camp_profiles/camp_profiles_ucd.html

Here's an update guys:

UCI: No verdict
UCD: Rejected.
UCSC: Accepted
UCR: Accepted
UCM: Accepted

Go to UCSC if you don't get into Irvine

Heh, I was about to state my thoughts on your chances, and I was right. >8] I'm with ucchris; UCI is slightly more difficult to get into than Davis, so that'll probably be a rejection too...
