Ok ,ok ,ok. I’m lying. Check this out though, one of you posted some status change on financial aid. I logged on to “my awards” for Davis and it says my package isn’t ready. However, when I click on a link to see “requirements” there are only two. This is them copied and pasted. So uh…am I in?

@skeptic51- I posted the financial aid thing, and that is exactly what mine is saying. Up until today the Admission Application Decision said unsatisfied. I’m not TAG’d either so it is not because of that. Based on past forums, this looks like a good sign!

^^That’s great! I did TAG so ifyou didn’t and I did the #'s should be in our favor. I never actually checked the requirments before so I can’t compare what it used to say and what it says.

^^ Ok I think I found the site. This is what mine says;

To be considered for financial aid, you must file a 2012/2013 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The FAFSA is not required for non-need scholarship consideration

As of today we have not received your file from Federal Student Aid. Please make sure of the following

You have received a Student Aid Report (SAR) from Federal Student Aid.
If you have received the SAR, is UC Davis listed as one of your school choices?
If you have received the SAR, is there anything missing on it to make it incomplete?

If you have received the SAR and UC Davis is listed and everything is complete or you have questions, please contact your respective Financial Aid Office.

iDizzle, did you log into myawards off of the financial aid website? If you did, you should see a button to the top left that say Requirements. When you click on that you will see the two sections of requirements. It sounds like your FAFSA file would say not satisfied but it should still show the Application Admision Decision status.

Ahhhh still waiting… I applied as Mechanical Engineering and I have all the math and physics and chem done but I had good grades out of high school too and i didn’t get in so i am getting really anxious!

@ Skeptic: I already received my award package from UCR, UCSC and UCSB. You should have received an email saying that it was ready for viewing and then you can check it in the portal. I never received a physical letter in the mail about it though.

@skeptic51: none of the transfers have been admitted?
I’ve received award letters, basically find the financial aid link, it will just give you details about the kind of loans you’re eligible for.

Don’t worry guys, I’m sure the awards will be posted soon. I got into UCSC in the first batch of acceptances mid March, and still no awards from them. I’m pretty sure they’ll be posted by early May to help us make decisions.

@ Skeptic: Oh ok. Well for UCSB it’s just that, an “Unofficial financial aid award”. The site says that it will not be finalized until you SIR to UCSB.

^^Oh yeah I discovered wth happened with my Davis financial aid. I did not have UCD checked on my FAFSA. lol. You’re only allowed to select up to 10 schools and I applied to 12 so I had 9 schools checked along with my current ccc. So I deleted one of the CSUs and put Davis on there. I just called UCD’s financial aid office and they said to give it a few days. lol

I changed a quite a lot of courses since my TAG was accepted, and although I did report all the changes before the deadline on April 1(?), I made one more change after that date.

I did call them to tell them about it but they said it’s too late and it will affect my eligibility for TAG.

But do any of you guys know if you get some kind of a notification or emails if your TAG is revoked BEFORE the admission emails are sent out?

Or do you find out about your TAG being revoked when they tell you the decisions?

^^ I’m not sure but in 2 weeks you’ll know how it all pans out. It’s kind of pointless to worry about it too much at this point. Just hang in there. If you want you should just call admissions and ask about it.
