@college2345 I’m on the waitlist too :frowning: so nervous!

@UCtoUC2017 what’s ur major if u don’t mind sharing

@college2345 Genetics and Genomics. It’s a pretty popular major so I’m terrified!

Hey so for the AP exams that I took in high school years ago… I did not receive passing scores… do I still have to submit my scores?

@universityforme if ur a transfer u don’t have to . R u on the waitlist as well?

has anyone heard back yet

Just accepted off waitlist (on 6/2) as a junior transfer from University of Arizona.

Major: Econ

Pre-reqs: 2 left
IGETC: yes
GPA: 3.63
ECs: Internship at JP Morgan, treasurer of fraternity, active member of Phi Delta Phi legal honors society.

Good luck to everyone else!

@jerlo95 did u get an email

Accepted off the waitlist today via email.

Major: Spanish
Pre-reqs: Completed this past fall semester
IGETC: I followed the IGETC track, but was not granted an official certificate because I was a private university student.
UC GPA: 3.9
Major GPA: 4.0
ECs: Latino Student Association, on-campus dance team, volunteer for a program that taught Spanish speakers English, and tutoring

It may or may not be worth noting that I transferred after spending only one year in college; half of my transferable credits were from AP exams and the other were from courses I took at my university.

@transferstdnt17 congrats !!! I’m so scared I checked my portal and it said they would start releasing acceptance in the beginning of April which really confused me

Hey I just got off the waitlist, and was hoping to get some insight. To my understanding, a regular applicant for the College of Engineering should be fine with maintaining an overall transferrable gpa of 3.1, but my condition states that I must maintain a 3.3 and get specific grades in certain classes, even though I updated my winter grades and they were not the grades they specified in the conditions. The terms are identical to the TAG which I was previously doing, but withdrew due to me withdrawing a class. Does any other non-TAG engineering major have to get a 3.3 here?

I’m scared now cuz lots of ppl r getting in and usually it’s a wave of acceptance and then rejections at the end

@college2345 Davis released their first wave of acceptances yesterday and the newly accepted students are given just 7 days to accept the offer. It’s my understanding that after those 7 days (next Friday), Davis will send out another wave of acceptances based on how many people accepted the admission offer during the past week. (I’m guessing the second wave of acceptances will also depend on major.) All this to say, don’t lose hope!

My page on UC Davis’s My Admissions changed. It looks like it’s the same page used before we got the waitlist decision (notification by late April). Does this means anything??

Do u think clinical nutrition majors hear the latest or don’t get accepted as much because I rarely see them get off the waitlist . That is my major so I’m kinda worried

@college2345 First I was noticed through the portal and then via email a few hours later.
