Hello everyone!
I’ve been lurking for quite a while now but I could really use some help in trying to narrow down my decision on where to go to school next fall. I’ve been accepted to UCD, UCSB, UCSD, and UC Berekely, and I’ve been having a hard time figuring out what school might be the best fit for me. I’m a communication major who’s leaning towards UCD because I believe that I would like the smaller more rural school over a campus that has more of a city vibe like UCSD and UC Berekely.
My main concern is that while I know that UC’s mainly focus on research, I would like to take some courses that allow for more applicable ways to study. I’m a huge fan of being able to do hands-on work, so would something like that be possible at UC Davis or am I mainly looking at just research-based courses?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
