<p>It says that “Your FAFSA is selected for Federal Verification. UC Davis is required by federal regulations to request additional documents (e.g., tax returns, verification worksheet) to verify the information on your FAFSA.”</p>
<p>Did this happen to everyone, or am I just special?</p>

<p>eh theyre offering me 12k in scholarships + a 5k loan. Santa Cruz offered 15k alone in scholarships plus other loans adding up to 31k lol.</p>

<p>me too, UCSC offered me a lot more financial aid than Davis as well.</p>

<p>I also got the email and was TAG’d, although I think my TAG will be void because an admissions counselor said that my TAG was for the Animal Science major only, and I’m planning on switching to the East Asian Studies major.</p>

<p>bakemaster I hope you’re wrong - I just checked it and it shows that I got a Regent’s Scholarship, which I had to apply for separately with a letter of recommendation. UCSC gave me a crap ton of loans, so I’ve got my fingers crossed that this is true.</p>

<p>@bluedia - I know, my mom happened to come into my room while I was staring at the computer in shock - and already told all my family despite me saying I wasn’t sure if it’s right. But why would it be a glitch? I honestly can’t see a reason for them to post any financial aid for multiple students (especially a Regents Scholarship - if it was a test run of some sort why include that?).</p>
<p>@annashlynn - I have 3.94 GPA & a TAG for Psych. I also have a ton of financial need so I’m just going to cry if this isn’t real.</p>
<p>@jesse71590: I agree, that’d be a pretty abnormal template to give everyone. And it seems your grades are about the same for me (4.0 TAG for ChemE), so it definitely could be (is?) real. :)</p>
<p>@bluedia I hope so! I love Davis and I want them to love me back hahaha. I saw an old thread from 2010 that someone bumped about Davis posting financial aid before decisions. No one mentioned Regents, though.</p>

does anyone know if these renew next year, or are they one time (year) only?</p>
