@lg1998 I used Naviance (a site some high schools use for managing college admissions) to figure out the exact stats for Davis
@ruetherford thank you for your help! My essay topics were about things that very,very few people could write about so I’m hoping that gives me a little boost. Plus my majors are so rare, which could help!
Last week!
Good luck to everyone!
Good luck to you @Ant1ng !
Good luck everyone! Definitely a nerve-wracking week ahead of us all!
I wonder what time they will be releasing decisions. With UCSD decisions (possibly) coming out that day as well I’ll be a nervous wreck lol.
Haha I am a nervous wreck xD @gonewiththeair
I can’t even log in to my portal :-S
I’ll have to call tomorrow bc I don’t remember my pass phrase and I can’t find the email with my student id #
Can someone help me with making an account for the admissions page? I made an account, but when I enter the information to login, it says the username or passphrase is incorrect.
@Katecat27 Yeah it took me a while to remember my info to log in too (around 40 minutes!). Turns out I had changed my ID to be my name (a new username) when I first registered, so you should try out possible IDs! It might not be the number given in the email
@mierdil
I’ve tried everything but I can’t get it right. I have no idea what I was thinking when I made that portal! They wouldn’t count it against me if I call and say that I stupidly lost my login?
I actually just created my account with the student ID number they provided, and when I entered the account info, it said it was incorrect.
What do they mean when they say you need to register an email with the account or something? Is there a confirmation email that should come because I didn’t get one.
@Katecat27 I don’t think so. At this point (I would hope) decisions are finalized. And I’m sure you’re not the only student to forget, so I’d give them a call. Good luck!
If you don’t have your log in info/forgot it (I lost mine too, don’t worry! It took a long time to guess what I had put down) then just call and ask! Decisions have been made at this point (except for maybe a few people) so it definitely won’t harm your application.
Not that I think it would anyway- people lose their log-in information all the time!
@gonewiththeair
Thanks, I’ll call tomorrow. At this point the anxiety of waiting for all of these decisions is making me worry over super trivial things =D>
I thought I was alone lol! I’ve had to reset my UCD login stuff about a million times, but today I finally memorized it lol
GOOD LUCK Y’ALL!
I’ve noted down all my college portal login information on a note on my phone and it’s a life saver.
Good luck everyone! 3 more days
I’m so confused!! I’veresetted my passphrase at least six times now, and whenever I try to login it says I have an incorrect passphrase or ID
Hey everyone! Do UC Davis Regents come out with the regular decisions or have they already been released?
Just a reminder because I saw a lot of comments worrying about Davis being boring - most of you’ll be <21 for most of your college career, so your nightlife is going to be based around house parties at any university or city. It’s up to you to make friends and get involved at school, or to host your own parties. If you just go to class and back and don’t spend time making friends, you’ll get bored no matter where you go.
Considering you’ll be broke college kids, you’re probably going to be studying or interning or student governmenting or dance teaming or whatever else most weeks and not going to concerts or the mall regularly. But on the weekends you’re itching to get out, there’s busses/uber to Sacramento, an $11 shuttle between you and UC Berkeley, and lots of day trips available once you/a friend gets a car. On weekends, there’s an active rideshare page with frequent rides to sac, SJ, and SF (and LA on long weekends).
