Just got a confirmation email for one of the Aggie trip days, a little discouraged because I got my third choice
@lilaclily Same! I got an email inviting me to Decision Day, from a peer advisor. She basically just explained why the major she is in, the same one I got accepted as, is so wonderfulll. I’m confused. Does this trip even include transportation??? It basically had no information. Just seems like a generic invitation.
@LuckyLemon4200 My email said
Dear ______,
This message confirms your registration for the Aggie Day Trip 2018 departing from Burbank. I’m glad you will be able to join me and other admitted students from your area for this campus visit.
To complete your registration, please be sure to submit required release forms by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 30.
UC Davis will provide food and transportation between the campus and your departure location:
@LuckyLemon4200 Decision Day is a different event. It is open to everyone and doesn’t usually include transportation. https://www.ucdavis.edu/admissions/undergraduate/events/decision/freshman

Thanks guys. I did some Googling and realized the same thing a little while after I posted :((
I definitely didn’t get that email. I think since I wasn’t confirmed for either trip (senior weekend or one of the two one-day visits; I did receive the invite and registered) they just sent me a “Come to Decision Day!” one. And yeah, it’s for all admitted students…sigh.
Here’s a CS ranking that is all over the place. It actually has UCSB higher that Berkeley. It shows UCD at 33 and UW at 80. So take all these rankings with a grain of salt.
Hi!
My son got waitlisted for Undeclared Social Science at College Letters and Science.He is not sure if he should accept his spot or not.He is interested in Economics, but also interested in Mathematics(Stats).
Does UCD accept a student(freshman) to a certain college or major(or major group)? Somehow we cannot find if Social Science includes Math or not. At other UCs the students have an option to double major in Economics and Math or they sometimes have Economics/Math major.
Thank you for your help in advance!
Accepted for fall 2018

@hoppy1:
College of Letters and Science admits by division within the college
(Humanities, Arts and Cultural Studies; Mathematics and Physical Sciences; Social Sciences)
It is fairly easy to change majors and/or double major within the same college.
