Hi everyone. I currently have economics down as my major for UC Davis, but my parents are urging me to switch into a CS major as soon as possible. I’m considering demoting economics to a minor and making CS my major because:
- Computer science appears to have more job openings
- I don’t want to entirely give up on econ, the minor requires only 20 credits and if I pass the Micro and Macro exams I think I could pass out of some of the classes.
What is your opinion on this matter?
On a side note, too, I read somewhere that UC Davis was one of the top 50 most stressful colleges in the nation. Not that it’s a bad thing in anyways, but I just wanted to know where this stress could be coming from so I can combat it more easily.
