UC Davis Econ Assist Agreement

Does business/short calculus and a stats class work for UC Davis econ math requirement? I know it does for UCSB and they state that specifically on their assist page; but, for UC Davis it's a little ambiguous. For the math requirement it lists stats and then business calc OR calculus 1, calculus 2.
My counselor interprets this as the option of:
1. Stats
2. Business Calculus
3. Calculus 2
OR
1. Stats
2. Calc 1
3. Calc 2

To me it looked like the Business/calc class at my school took the place of both short calculus classes at Davis so that the options are either:
1. Stats
2. Business Calculus
OR
1. Stats
2. Calc 1
3. Calc 2

Here is the assist page I am looking at: http://web1.assist.org/web-assist/report.do?agreement=aa&reportPath=REPORT_2&reportScript=Rep2.pl&event=19&dir=1&sia=IRVINE&ria=UCD&ia=IRVINE&oia=UCD&aay=13-14&ay=13-14&dora=ECON.A.B.

Edit: for some reason the link which I double checked and clearly says econ in it takes you to aerospace engineering. So to view the assist for my CC it would be Irvine Valley College, but I would also be interested to know if the assist requirements for your CC are different.

I’m also an Econ major hoping to transfer next semester to UC Davis. At my CC the math requirements are Calc 1, Calc 2, and stats.

Is <a href=“Welcome to ASSIST”>Welcome to ASSIST. the page you want?

Looks like you need:

UCD STATIST 13 (Elem Statistics) =
IVC MATH 10 (Introduction to Statistics) OR PSYC 10 (Statistical Methods in the Behavioral Sciences)

for the statistics course.

For the math courses, you can choose one of the following:

UCD MATH 16A and 16B (Short Calculus) =
IVC MATH 11 and 3B (Brief Calculus and Analytic Geometry and Calculus II) or MATH 3A and 3B (Analytic Geometry and Calculus I and II)

OR

UCD MATH 21A and 21B (Calculus) =
IVC MATH 3A and 3B (Analytic Geometry and Calculus I and II)

Since IVC MATH 3B has MATH 3A as a prerequisite, you effectively have to take MATH 3A and 3B.

The recommended courses:

UCD MATH 21C (Calculus) =
IVC MATH 4A (Analytic Geometry and Calculus III)

UCD MATH 22A (Linear Algebra) =
IVC MATH 26 (Introduction to Linear Algebra)

are a good idea if you want to do PhD study in economics. You may also want to take IVC MATH 24 (Elementary Differential Equations).

Thank you very much, this definitely clears things up. Although my chances of getting into Davis are pretty slim now as I’m missing 3B. Looks like UCSB next year.
