@sliceoflife24 I don’t want to think about it. I applied right before the deadline, and the Scholarship office worker told me that not as many people applied for regents.
@FUTUREUCLABRUIN1 Speaking of which, what was the applying process? I start to wonder if I even applied for it. I can’t recall besides sending LoR through Scholarships portal.
@sliceoflife24 As far as I can remember, it was solely dependent on a LoR.

@DavisCowsRule how is Davis ? Can a student get a stiff drink at 11 am?
@Outerhaven I’m not over 21 yet, so I can’t vouch for any bar scene. There are a few places in town that have a healthy bunch of patrons, such as the Graduate (has dancing), Froggie’s (formerly the old Paragon), the Wunderbar, and DeVere’s Irish Pub. 11 am?!!?

@Outerhaven Come to think about it - there’s places that start serving lunch at 11:30 am, with bars on the premises, so if you can hold off for a half hour…then the answer to your question is yes. Sophia’s Thai Restaurant falls under that umbrella - same with most of the above mentioned establishments.
Davis sounds even more appealing after knowing that I can grab a stout at a Irish pub after class!
@sliceoflife24 There’s the Gunrock Pub open for lunch on campus at the Silo, for those who can’t make it downtown between classes.
If I get in tomrorrow, I’m going to be so excited because i’ll be less than 15 minutes away from Thai Canteen!
@autumnfairy @Penguinlover cool, i hope you guys get in. I’m a little concerned bc i haven’t finished all the prereqs (will be missing 2), but I do have a good GPA so I’m hoping that helps! haha
