@atifmalik : Thats awesome man! Keep going the way you are going, and you’ll reach to the top! What are your stats if you don’t mind me asking?

This is me when I applied to Davis: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6b/Arthur_Schopenhauer_Portrait_by_Ludwig_Sigismund_Ruhl_1815.jpeg

Hey guys! Sorry if this is stupid question, but I forgot to submit my FASFA. Is there any other way I can get financial aid? :#

@atifmalik Funny I found you here, this is Grovers! Good luck on your decision.

To everybody else, is there a set time for when the decisions come out tomorrow?
Also, does anybody have any knowledge of other UCs’(UCB, UCLA, UCSD, UCI) decision dates? So far, all I know is that Davis is April 17, and the rest are mid-late April.

@penguinluver You can still apply to FASFA, but it might not be available for Fall. If you get in, go talk with the financial aid people in Dutton Hall…they will give you the best advice.

So, I’m kinda in the same boat as @penguinluver.

My question is: I’ve had FAFSA while I’ve been at Community College and currently am receiving it for my last semester here at the CCC. Can I apply before the fall semester for UC Davis given that I’m already in the system? Or do I have to reapply all over again?

For those asking about financial aid, here’s the calendar for UCD:

Again, best to contact Dutton Hall for advice.

@GroveStreetParty haha lovin the name! Good luck with the acceptances!

@penguinluver sure!
GPA: 3.86
IGETC: done
Prereqs: missing two
ECs: Just some volunteer and running track/cross country

Can transfers change majors to Bio or Biotechnology?

@sergkMD You can apply to change majors after Fall Quarter. Whether you are accepted into the new major depends on space available.

re #307 - FAFSA

Is it worth the gamble of going as Clinical Nutrition and changing to Biotechnology? They are both a part of the same college.

@sergkMD You would also have to have a lot of required work finished in the major to which you want to change to before they would allow it.

If Clinical Nutrition and Biotechnology have similar requirements, the transition is easier.

I already have all classes done for it, except ochem which I will be taking when I get there.

@sergkMD If there’s space in Biotechnology, then you can probably change your major Winter Quarter.

Thanks!

12 hours to go guys… Cant focus on Ochem…
