UC Davis: Preview Day 2011 Registration is now open

<p>UC</a> Davis : Preview Day</p>

<p>Preview Day, a free informational program for prospective students, their parents and school counselors, will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011. Participants will have the opportunity to:</p>

<p>Get to know UC Davis on a student-led campus walking tour.</p>

<p>Speak with advisers from academic departments at the Majors & Activities Fair.
Talk with current students about life at UC Davis.
Learn about academic opportunities offered by each of our four colleges.
Enjoy lunch in one of our residence hall dining commons, or at popular student gathering spots on and around campus.
You'll also have the chance to learn about admissions, financial aid and advising resources at information sessions throughout the day.
Schedule of Activities and Driving Information
Come prepared for an active day: wear comfortable walking shoes and layered clothing, and consider packing a bottle of water and a light snack. There will be plenty for you to see and do!</p>

<p>It's Homecoming Weekend!
While you're here, we invite you to attend our Homecoming football game. The UC Davis Aggies will take on University of Texas, San Antonio at 2:00 p.m. in Aggie Stadium. <p>I went to preview day last year. I really enjoyed it and was able to ask a ton of questions to different departments. Anyone who’s thinking about transferring to UCD should try to make it there.</p>

<p>did you get personal questions regarding your app in?</p>

<p>My major is Bioengineering and UCSD is kind of the king of BioE. Plus, Davis only let me in after appealing, and at that point my heart was already set on UCSD.</p>

<p>If you talk to the right people you can get very personal questions answered. Pamela Blanco is great at answering general app/TAG questions or at least directing you to a better person to speak to, I recommend finding her.</p>
