That is just 4.09%
omgggg… I read more stats and on a normal year, they allow about 39% to be accepted. 800/2000. I hope its a normal year T___T
Let’s hope the state and the UC system agree on the budget, so that they can admit more students
@penguinluver . that’s much better stat. Can you please tell me where you got it from?
Those wait list statistics referred to both freshmen & transfers. Unlike, the one provided by Ms. Sun.
@penguinluver tnx. It seems like a good source
Can someone please chance me and see?

Hey everyone, When do we know how many people accepted the waitlist? Hoping they accept more people than last year.Goodluck to you all.
oops i cannot delete my post.
nvm
to answer some of the qualified ppl wh got waitlisted aws to why, i think it could be because your major. for example, the class of engineering applicants could be stronger than those of computer science so it may be more difficult to get in to one of the majors
Does Davis have a first come and first serve ranking system?
I don’t think so. That doesn’t seem fair at all
I talked to admissions today. They said we should be expecting the decision by the end of June 23rd.
@penguinluver wow that’s so late… DX
I checked my admission status this morning and totally ruined my day to find out I am waitlisted. I did some research and found out I have a better chance than many others did. Still kinda worried tho. This is my first application ever sent out to a university and UC Davis is my first and only choice. I have an okay GPA of 3.0 and majoring in Human Development. I can say I am also a pre med student, but non of the premed requirements are required for my major so thats why I thought it was going to be okay. I completed all prerequisite for my major and I am ready to go. I submitted everything for my waitlist and now I guess we just wait. Good luck everyone
I contacted Davis undergrads about transfer number for this year. They said: This year we do have a transfer waitlist of 2,380 and we do anticipate on accepting students off of the waitlist this year.
This means that we will be able to have a higher % of waitlist people being accepted this year than the 4% last year. Hopefully some of us will get accepted this year
Did they tell you they would accept more or did just arrive at the conclusion? @penguinluver ? Also jun 23 is so late.
They basically said they would accept more people off the waitlist.
