I have been recently admitted to both UC davis and Cal Poly SLO, I am interested in majoring in business (Internation or not). However, I am aware that Cal Poly has a pretty good business school, but davis has higher academic ratings, where I could possibly take econ as a major. Please help a fellow prospective student out…thanks.

<p>I had to make that decision a couple years back. I'm not sure that Davis has higher overall academic ratings, but for biology(my major) it definitely had more departmental prestige. I just went with the school that really felt right for me in terms of location and atmosphere. They're both really good schools, so I wouldn't worry too much about the prestige angle. I really had to go with where I felt comfortable, even though it took me until the end of April to make my decision.</p>
<p>Cal Poly has a really good business school. It is one of the things they are known for there besides enginnering</p>

<p>So go to Cal Poly, it has a better surrounding area.</p>
