<p>I, unlike probably most of you, want to find out my wait list decision after AP testing. Why you ask? Because they only give you 5 days to decide and I don’t want to have to leave school to go tour Davis, while AP testing is not over. </p>
<p>Does anyone know when these decisions will come out?</p>

waitlisted at SD bioengineering but chances are looking slim

The campus is expecting to pull students off the waitlist depending on available spaces within each major (so the major you applied to matters in whether you get off the waitlist). The decisions will come out sometime between this week and next week. You cannot appeal the decision (which sucks because you didn’t have the option to appeal when you opt-in onto the waitlist; although the person I spoke to kind of flip-flopped just a bit and I think it’s less “you cannot appeal” but more of “not worth your while to appeal”). Aside from that the campus is not releasing any additional information to the public (no SIR numbers, no specific waitlist numbers, etc.).</p>
<p>Same here @mrjflores just got rejected today for Chemistry.</p>

<p>I just got rejected from Davis for biomedical engineering. But I got into UCSD for Biochemistry and Cell Biology. Don’t understand the UC system…</p>

<p>My son also get rejected, but already accepted in UCSB (Computer Engineering) and UCI (Undecided/Undeclared), waiting for UCSD waitlist, otherwise going to either UCSB or UCI.</p>

<p>I called admissions. Only 5 people got in from the waitlist this year. </p>
<p>D rejected yesterday from Communications. She is attending UCSC in Film, since they do not have a Communications Department. She seems happy with UCSC (but Davis was in our “neighborhood” so it would have been cheaper and convenient).</p>
<p>@manduhleigh are you serious? UCD admitted close to a 1000 last year ???</p>
