So did the bill or whatever get through? Are uc’s taking 5,000 more students off the wait list this summer?
@genieforuboi The bill passed, but the governor opposes it. They have 12 days to come to agreement or he can veto it But they think they can come to an agreement within a few days. I don’t know how many days that is. I don’t think they’re taking 5000 students off the waitlists this summer. The president of UC said it was too late to take more than a few hundred for all the campuses.
She is going to get the money - rather than waiting and giving stupid excuses, why can’t she start accepting now - kick her back to Washington or where ever the heck she came from. She brought Washington crap to California.
There’s a press conference at 1:30 today, and rumors are that they’ve reached a deal on the budget.
The bill was passed - now the ball in UC Presidents office - lets keep our fingers crossed and see what happens tomorrow

Admitted today as a Food Science major. I reported that I did not take math65A (Calculus 1) and still got admitted. However, as I read the conditions of admission and it states that I ‘must’ complete that course in spring 2015. I’m confused. Does anyone have a similar predicament? Is there a possibility they overlooked it and my acceptance can be rescinded? Please help!
I am still wait-listed for polysci/public service, I heard that there will notify a new bunch of students around 6/22. Does anyone know anything different?

@genieforuboi I called today, and they said they hoped to release the decisions by the end of the month. Sigh.
