UC decision dates...

dood, THIS IS A HUGE MISTAKE now tha tI think about it....oh crap.

"Hmm...that mistake makes it looks like I work insane hours a week tho..."
What did you actually put up there, if you don't mind sharing the details?

Does babysitting count as a job?

Well, this mistake of mine makes it look like I worked 49 hours a week instead of the 42 I actually worked. Hmmm makes my application look very suspicious. AHHHH!!!!! WHY did I have to be so careless!

don't worry man.... I'll understand that this part of app might be confusing.

lol I know you'll understand highschoolda, but will the adcoms understand is the question!

42.. 49, 7 hours really THAT much? anyways, unless you receive an extracrurricular verification sheet, you shouldn't worry.

Hobo, you are the Devil.

Even if they ask you to verify, that won't be a big of enough difference to make or break you.

babysitting is not something you would list under jobs.

Should I e-,ail them to inform them of this mistake (it's awfully late now in the game).

No dude, it's too minor.

but what if they ask for proof, and they see that my verification indicates the wrong year I worked?

u should just notify them in case they ask u for proof, they'll see you made an attempt to rectify the mistake...

UCLA and UCB (70 Days to go)...

UCSB and UCSD (23 days to go)...

UCR (8 days to go)...

Is anyone as excited about the pending UCR decisions as me? I always thought I wouldn't care about any other UC decisions other than UCLA and Cal but here I am stoked as hell to find out if I got into UCR or not. For me, getting into UCR would give me the validation that I could get into any of the UCs (as I tend to have bad luck with things like these, I have this strange feeling that something catastrophic is going to happen with my application or something and I will end up getting rejected to everywhere)...So yah, I will most definitely give myself a pat on the back if I get into UCR...

Is it me or did the UCSB update change from In Review to Decision Pending? Maybe I'm just neurotic and check every 5 minutes, but I think it changed. For me at least.

Doesn't everyone with completed course work get into UCR? In high school the only UC I applied to was Cal, and I got rejected and they differed my application to UCR and I got in automatically without applying. I'm pretty sure it's the same for transfers...If you don't get into UCLA, UCSD etc..you'll get into UCR. I think someone mentioned earlier that UCR notifies really late too. It's like they pick the leftovers from CAL and UCLA. I'm worried about UCSD (even though I have no intention on going there) because I know that if I get in there it's like a stepping stone towards UCLA, USC, and Cal.

so i just failed my accounting midterm ........ sadface.

"I'm worried about UCSD (even though I have no intention on going there) because I know that if I get in there it's like a stepping stone towards UCLA, USC, and Cal."

I hear you, Kyle.
