UC decision dates...

wow i have this horrible feeling that i'm going to be rejected from every school i applied too... I should have added UCSB to my list or i should have just attended as a freshman...

wow if i do get rejected everywhere, i think i'm going to cry.

Don't worry Hobo, I feel the EXACT same way. This next month is going to be...interesting.

Oh UCSB, please find it in your hearts to let me in. :(

i make that same prayer to the admissions gods every time i go to bed.

dont worry too much.... My friends (2 of them) just got into ucsb for winter. One was a psychology major with a 2.9-3.0, and the other was a biology with like a 3.4 and missing a bunch of pre reqs...

I am applying for fall 06 with a 3.2, business econ, missing the calc series, and just now doin stats and the councelors say even I have a great shot... So you should not worry

just try your best and pray .. I think that's all we can do . Somehow I hope that I could try better in the past .. so I wouldn't be in the situation when I feel that .. if I can get an A in those two classes .. things would be much better than it's now ..

no, my problem is that i didn't bother to add UCSB onto my list as a "safety" ... and i REALLY don't want to spend another two years here.. i think i'll go crazy if i do.

ugh... I have these two dreams...more like thoughts, every night before I go to sleep...
One...I get in (ucla)...I cry and I'm happy
Two...I dont...I just cry...
So..either way, there will be crying..
anyone else?

Congratulation to Chunkphat!!!! woo hoo.. nice nice! Could you post your stats in detail?

I guess some UC Regents scholars are a couple points below 4.0 too.

Did you get a letter gabe? Obviously someone got a regents scholarship with a 3.92 from Berkeley but thats understandable.

My stats:
70 UC units when transferring
4.0gpa
IGETC certified (upon transfer)
Major prep complete (upon transfer, taking 1 course now)
Political Science major
Enrolled in a CCC
PTK
Employment
Some sports
Some academic awards

congratulations dude

well deserved.

thanks again to all of you!

No I did not, chunkphat. I have a 3.62.

UCLA and UCB (63 Days to go)...

UCSB and UCSD (16 days to go)...

UCR (1 days to go)...

On the UCSB website it says "Transfer applicants will be notified of admission decisions between March 1 and May 1." So is the countdown to March 15 a rough estimate of when the majority of applicants will be notified or how did you come up with that date?

Kudos, many of the UCs say they start March 15 or in "mid-March." Even those that say elsewhere that they technically start on March 1.

Congrats chunkphat! You deserve it! As a poli sci major myself I hope to join you at UCLA! :)

I'm stoked regardless.

I let other people continue the countdown because I don't want people to yell at me when the decisions don't come on the dates I included in the Countdown.... =[

I shall continue soon though =]

14 hours 4 minutes and 3 seconds for UCR ... woo hoo! :D I'm waiting for the good news!

"Countdown to 12:01 a.m. March 1! We're working hard to upload admission decision information.

MyUCR will be offline today, February 28,2006, from 9:45 a.m. to midnight, so that we can upload the information you've been waiting for!

Be sure to log in tonight at 12:01 a.m. to view your decision! Thank you."

I'm so stoked man. Hopefully, I'll get into UCR (not being sarcastic)...I can't wait till midnight!!!
