UC decision dates...

this is funny...:D

lol sandkicks

UCLA and UCB(105 days to go)...

Here are my stats as were requested:

CC: Santa Monica College
Major: Pre-Political Science
Major GPA: 4.0 (so far)
Cumulative GPA: 3.7
EC's: Internship at a law firm
Other: Non-TAP certified, IGETC certified

and how come you dont think you're a good candidate for UCLA??!

nikkei, why do you say that you're not an eligible candidate for UCLA? Your stats looks pretty good to me. stop worrying.

everyone in this thread will get in, i feel it.

nikki your stats are almost identical to mine, soooo if your not eligible i sure as hell am not either

as long as all nikkei's requirements are met with major prep finished (or going to be finished) I think someone is being a little dramatic...3.7 is well above the applicant average and above the accepted average as well. I'm going to guess something is missing with those stats.

What's missing is the fact that nikkei is neurotic. A lot of us are on this board (including me), hah.

You guys are great :) .....i love this board

futebolista, what schools are you waiting for?

cal_girl -

can I just chill this last semester? How important is it to keep up a 4.0?

just Cal.....unlike two years ago, i feel im really prepared this time...

yeah seriously, my mindset is totally different from what it was in highschool. I'm not (as) lazy anymore. =)

futebolista, what school do you go to now? what major do you want at Cal?
WillDo, what school are you waiting for again? and you dont have to keep up a 4.0. in fact my last seemster i got a little lazy and got a B in a class, putting it to a 3.9 something. but i would recommend keeping up a 4.0 even if you dont have to (i wish i did that now). so the answer to your question is it is not important for transfering purposes. you will still be able to get in if you keep it a a certain GPA. so keeping it at a 4.0 will be for personal reasons at that point.

calgirl21

I'm trying to transfer to Cal, UCLA or Davis. What GPA do I need to maintain to not be at risk for rejection?

Yeah remember that these grades don't actually go away a lot of the times. While it is absolutly true that they have no effect on your UC GPA, if there are any of you wishing to go to Law School, all your grades come back to haunt you.

willdo,
uc davis....i believe a 2.7? i could be wrong. berkeley, 3.0.
wait a min, just to make sure, you already applied for fall 2007 right? just so i know we're talking about the same thing.

hey allena, so grades from cc does not count for anything ??? so when i apply for stuff, they just recognize what i get at berkeley???
